Mayor Jeffrey Harmon will discuss his vision for the City of Auburn and the role of the Mayor in shaping the future of Auburn. This presentation will be moderated in a question and answer format by John Cleveland, former Auburn Mayor and State Senator. The moderated discussion will include the major challenges facing Auburn, and the role of Federal, State, County, other municipalities, and non-profit organizations in addressing these challenges. Mayor Harmon will also explain the role, duties, and responsibilities of  Mayor in addressing these challenges and his view on how to lead Auburn into a bright and prosperous future. Ample time will be reserved for questions from those attending the presentation.

Jeffrey Harmon was elected Mayor of Auburn in November 2023. He began his career in public service in law enforcement. He joined the Maine State Police where he rose to the rank of Deputy Chief. In his second career he joined Constellation Software where he became the General Manager of three divisions of the company. Jeffery has been a resident of Auburn for more than 34 years with his wife Lisa, where they raised two children, Matthew and Katherine.
