The library currently offers an adult book group, Books and Banter, which is open to the public, customers may join at any time. This book group meets on the third Friday of the month in the Conference Room on the ground floor, from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM.
We also offer rotating book discussions throughout the year, which are available for registration on our events calendar.

Hey kids! Let's hang out and read together. The last Friday of the month, 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM. Bring your own book or borrow one of ours, and we will all enjoy some quiet reading time. Afterward, we can share what we have read or not; the choice is yours.

Discover something new with the Genre Explorers Book Club! At each bi-monthly meeting, we will hold a lively discussion exploring a book from a different genre or subgenre.
Genre Explorers Book Club will be hosted on the last Monday of the given month, 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM.
Participants will be expected to obtain a copy of the book independently. You may place a hold on Minerva using your library card or contact the Auburn Public Library for assistance with how to borrow a copy of this month's selection.

This book group calls itself The Tuesday Mystery Club, a name similar to The Thursday Murder Club. The group selects different types of mysteries to read each month, and books range from recent publications to older ones. Upcoming titles include Conviction by Denise Mina (February), Christine Falls by Benjamin Black (March), and The Neon Rain by James Lee Burke (April).
The Tuesday Mystery Club meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 10:30 AM at the Auburn Public Library, and discussions last for one hour.
