Bringing Books To Life Through Photography

Auburn Photographer, Norma Warden, brings to life the world of The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern through a series of photographs based on the imaginative descriptions found throughout the book. For Warden, who found the book interesting and memorable, the detailed descriptions conjured up images in her mind that begged to be created and photographed. “The exhibit is a way to share my creative vision with fans of The Starless Sea.” She hopes fans will delight in seeing glimpses of the story brought to life through images, and those who have not read the book will be enticed to read it. The exhibit was funded in large part by a Project Grant for Artists from the Maine Arts Commission. Warden encourages all types of artists to look into the grants program.
