The Auburn Public Library Bookstore is now open on Saturday mornings. from 9:30-1:00. Choose from hundreds of gently used books, with most prices under $4. We have books for children, teens, and adults.

Tiny Tunes is a fun music and movement program for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers. Siblings are welcome. No registration is required.

Stop by APL for an enjoyable and engaging lap-sit program for babies, toddlers, and caregivers. Siblings are also welcome to participate.

APL's Local History Room will be open and available today from 10:00 a.m.

Sweet Peas is a fun and interactive story time for children ages 2–4 and their caregivers. We'll read very short stories, and use rhythm instruments, colorful scarves, and even a parachute to introduce popular nursery rhymes and songs.

With online content, we have a constant flow of information as well as misinformation.

As part of our partnership with the National Digital Equity Center, a Digital Navigator will be available, in the Computer Lab, on select Mondays from 1:00-3:00 pm.  Bailey works within Androscoggin County to help close the digital divide.

Celebrate National Learn Your Name in Morse Code Day! Library staff will provide children ages 5–12 with craft supplies to write their names in dots and dashes using Morse code.

Make a yeti-themed bookmark that lights up with a circuit YOU create! We'll provide everything you need to make this project or to go in your own artistic direction. Learn how to make a simple circuit with copper tape, a coin battery, and an LED.

Drop into the children's department to play board games with your friends and family. We'll provide a small selection of games, but feel free to bring your own. No registration is required.

Registration is required to participate in all three sessions of this program. 

Community Credit Union's Financial & Life Navigator, Ginger Leigh Smith, will be on site at the Auburn Public Library today.  The navigator can help with resource coordination, financial education, and serves as a conduit for stability in

Pokémon fans can bring their cards and trade, battle, or just hang out! This is a drop-in program, registration is not required!

Make a dynamic penguin picture using fluffy cotton balls and paper. Crafty Kids is a weekly crafting program led by local volunteer, Mary Ann Cormier. This program is best for school-aged children with adult supervision.

Stop by the Auburn Public Library to play chess with friends and neighbors!

Join us as we celebrate Law Enforcement Appreciation Day with a special community story time read by a guest from the Auburn Police Department.  A mini craft will directly follow the reading.   

Celebrate National Houseplant Appreciation Day! Library friends ages 5+, teens, and adults are welcome to drop into the children's department to select a baby plant to take home and nurture. While supplies last.
