The Auburn Public Library book store will be open on Saturday mornings, starting on September 2, from 9:30-1:00. Choose from hundreds of gently used books, with most prices under $4. We have books for children, teens and adults.

Story Time is a fun session of storytelling, singing, and crafting. This activity is best suited for children aged between 3 to 5 years and siblings are more than welcome to participate. No prior registration is needed.

Join us for a special construction worker-themed playtime! We'll provide the play space and toys. Come have a fun morning out and make new friends. Siblings are welcome. No registration is required.

Dr. William Schmitt will be the featured speaker at the Auburn Public Library on October 20 at 10:30 a.m.  Dr. Schmitt will discuss the most common medical issues experienced by people over 50 and what they should know about those issues.

Teens and New Adults, ages 16-24, are invited to stop by and learn about opportunities available through the Maine Job Corps. 

The Friday book group meets on the third Friday of the month. New members are always welcome!  Limited copies are available at the Lending Desk, and copies are available through online requesting.

Community Credit Union's Financial & Life Navigator will be on site at the Auburn Public Library today.  The navigator can help with resource coordination, financial education, and serves as a conduit for stability in our local workforce.

Come to the Teen Space for a seafaring D&D adventure in a fantasy world! Open to beginners and experienced players alike. Come with a character sheet (level 1-3) or use one that we provide.  

Let's go batty for bats! Join special guest, Emma Lorusso (AVSWCD), to learn more about these small squeaky misunderstood animals. We'll decipher the difference between myths and facts about bats.

Children in grades 2–6 are invited to participate in Kids Can Cook with APL children's staff. This month, we will be making healthy energy bars! Kids will have the chance to measure, mix, pour, cook, and enjoy eating this tasty treat.

Community volunteer, Mary Ann Cormier, will help kids create and decorate their construction paper hand prints to make a mummy hand!

Take some time to slow down and dive deeper into the poses, while gaining strength, flexibility, and core balance.  Use the power of your breath to slowly move through your practice with intention and introspection in this vinyasa-style class

Join APL's Read to a Dog program every Thursday and Meet Michael Fralich and his therapy dog, Mocha, an adorable English Shepherd who loves listening to kids read and giving kisses.
