Calling all creative minds and those on a journey of mental health healing and recovery!
Join us for a unique Rock 'N Talk event at the Auburn Public Library on Tuesday, July 23 at 1:00 p.m. This community peer-centered event is a fun and welcoming space to:
Decorate rocks with positive messages, phrases, and images that inspire healing and recovery.
Openly discuss your mental health journey, path to recovery, and your experiences with mental health services.
Connect with others in a comfortable and supportive environment.
Your voice matters! This event is all about sharing your experiences and creating a space for open dialogue about mental health.
No artistic experience is necessary! All are welcome to join in the fun and create a message of hope and healing.
Spread the word! Invite your friends, family, and anyone who might be interested in participating in this positive and supportive event.
This program is in partnership with the Consumer Council System of Maine. For more information on CCSM, visit their website at https://maineccsm.org/. It is part of our summer reading initiative, Adventure Begins at Your Library, where adults at APL will focus on Adventures in Nature.
