Did you know around 3,000 ethnic groups practice entomophagy? Human insect-eating (anthropo-entomophagy) is common to cultures in most parts of the world, including Central and South America, Africa, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. Eighty percent of the world's nations eat insects of 1,000 to 2,000 species. Mr. Drew will introduce you to a new world in the epicurean delight of eating bugs! Sample a variety of insects naturally seasoned and in a number of dishes, like cricket basmati rice, scorpion English muffin pizza, and mealworm sugar cookies. This program is for children in grades 2–6. Please register.
*Prepared food may contain nuts, dairy, wheat, eggs, and seafood.
