Let's Make Comics with Isabella Rotman!

Every month, the Let’s Make Comics group tackles a different part of the comic making process including (but not limited to) character design, worldbuilding, and production. If you’re interested in creating your own series, strip, or just curious about how comics are made, stop by the Teen Space to join in on this creative adventure! 

Today, we will be joined by cartoonist and illustrator, Isabella Rotman, for a comic jam! Join us for an exciting, collaborative comic making experience and learn about the Maine comic scene. 

Isabella Rotman is a cartoonist and illustrator whose work is about women, loneliness, the ocean, the woods, and bodily autonomy. Isabella is the author of “A Quick and Easy Guide to Consent,” the illustrator and co-author of “Wait, What?: A Comic Book Guide to Relationships, Bodies, and Growing Up,” and “Like the Tide,” a prose-based comic about being held by the sea.
